Beautiful Acharacle getaway 🌄

The room was lekker and comfy. Chilled at the bar with some cool vibes and friendly staff, who really went out of their way to. Brekkie was a solid feast, definitely worth waking up for!

Had a bit of a hassle with the bathroom door not closing properly, a bit frustrating.

Absolutely brilliant and exceptionally nice units with toiletries. An electric kettle, central heating, and television available.

We asked for double room and it was huge.

Quirky classy hotel, great views across the Ardnamurchan hills. Neat room and bathroom with a bath. Decent food at breakfast served in the restaurant. Central location on a serious slope. Close enough to the peninsula, nature and the communal downstairs areas. What a very enjoyable stay, nothing too much trouble.

The staff were helpful, providing really good service. Breakfast featured local smoked salmon and generous portions- the best I've experienced!

The big meat pie was fantastic, but our tight room had poor lighting.

How disappointing! My room had a noticeable slope, made sleeping a hilarious challenge (not in a good way), and let's not even mention the stale smell of cigarette smoke hanging around like an unwanted guest. I expected complimentary chocolates as a gesture for my troubles, but alas, that was too much to ask apparently. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The local dishes at dinner were impressive, and staff were accommodating, even allowing an early breakfast despite my tight schedule. Just a bit noisy at night due to the pub's lively atmosphere.

Arriving before check-in can leave you waiting outside, which isn't ideal in less than pleasant weather. The noise from the bar tends to carry late into the night, and the decor of some rooms feels dated and could really use a refresh. Bathroom lighting and shower pressure were also subpar, impacting comfort . In the dining area, expectations for the main restaurant may fall short, as I was redirected to the sun lounge instead, which lacked the excitement I hoped for. It can feel cramped and disorganized at times, especially with limited options for vegetarians as well.

Had a fantastic two nights, the staff were super friendly and chatty. My room was comfy with a nice view, and I loved chilling out in the bar area. Just a heads up, be prepared to wait a bit for food, but it's totally worth it!

Just a good pick for a passing visit in Acharacle with great value for the money. The atmosphere was cozy, making it easy to relax with a refreshing drink from the bar after a long day. Make sure to arrive in time to avoid waiting outside till check-in.
